Vaccines! Most common asked question “do you recommend vaccinating rabbits?”My answer is yes!

Although something to keep in mind is that it doesn’t protect their life, let me explain,There is the one and only vaccination for rabbits called “Cylap”, this vaccine is for protecting your bunny from calici virus. Although, it only covers one strain. The virus is a 3 strain virus. So even being vaccinated your bunny can still contract the virus and die. It is a deadly virus spread out by government to kill off the wild rabbits. Apart from vaccinating you can do other precautionary measures to keep your bunny safe.

- Fly screen the whole hutch as it’s transported by flies. 

- Keep your rabbit indoors if possible. 

- Rabbit proof your yard so they can not get in contact with your rabbit or contaminate areas. 

- Disinfect regularly. 

- Remove waste and old food frequently. Keep your rabbit as safe as you can! Indoor living with supervised outdoor play is the best for your pet.
